Public meetings scheduled/comment period extended for Bristol Bay Area Plan revisions

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has extended the public comment period on draft revisions to its 2005 Bristol Bay Area Plan to May 6, 2013.

It has also set the following community meetings in Bristol Bay:

Sunday, March 24

Iliamna, 6:00-9:00 p.m., Iliamna Village Council Building

Monday, March 25

Igiugig, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Igiugig Village Council at the Hanger

King Salmon & Naknek, 6:00-9:00 p.m., Dolly’s Hall/Naknek Village Council

Tuesday, March 26

Port Heiden, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Village Office at Ray’s Place

Dillingham, 5:00-9:00 p.m., Dillingham Middle School Gym
